TOP 3 MILITARY JETS 2017 ..!!

Over the time, There have been many fighter jet having advanced technology but it is still a confusion to many, that on what basis a fighter jet gets to the top lists.Well the answer is the speed and the power is all that counts.

Many countries use their advanced technologies in order to produce one of the powerful jets and also to make sure that they have one of the powerful Air force in the world.

Now the question comes to our mind that what could be the primary role of a fighter jet??
Yes,the fighter jets role is to destroy the enemy aircraft in air combat and work as both offensive and defensive in the counter air operations. They are capable of carrying a variety of weapons including the machine guns, cannons, rockets, guided missiles and bombs.

Now here are the Top 3 Fighter jets of 2017

1. F-22 Raptor

Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor is the top 1 military jets on the list and is one of the most advanced aircraft in the world. It is a stealth aircraft which is invisible to radar. It has one of the extremely advanced twin engines that enhances the speed of the jet.It was included to U.S Air force in 2005.

FIRST EVER SUPERSONIC PASSENGER AIRCRAFT- "THE CONCORDE"

As we all know that an Airliner or passenger aircraft is a type of aircraft for transporting passengers, such an aircraft have a normal speed and maintains altitude as of the common commercial aircrafts. But there are are few special aircrafts that are designed to go into higher altitudes and speeds than the normal aircrafts one among them are the supersonic aircrafts.

WHAT ARE SUPERSONIC AIRCRAFTS

A Supersonic aircraft is designed to transport passengers at speeds greater than the speed of sound!!
So Now to the date the only supersonic aircrafts that saw the regular service are CONCORDE and the TUPOLEV Tu-144.

WHAT WAS THE USE OF SUPERSONIC AIRCRAFT WAY BACK IN 90's

The Supersonic aircraft are designed in such a way that it takes lesser time than the other commercial aircraft. Well let me give you example, A normal commercial flight form Paris to New York would take about 6 hours through the Atlantic ocean but the Concorde Flight covered same distance in 3.5 hours. It had cut down the total time taken reach New York.

Let me tell you a very interesting fact it would take 3 hours 15 min to watch the Titanic Movie,so is the total time taken ,by the time you finish the movie you would have reached New York!!

Well Jokes apart Concorde project was started in early 1950 with a budget of over 80 million Dollars. It was actually expected to complete in 1968 but took further more time and finally on the morning of January 21 1976, a pair of Concorde's one each form British Airways and Air France took off Simultaneously on what would be the First commercial Supersonic flights with fare paying passengers

The British Airways jet took off from London's Heath-row Airport bound for Brazil with a stop in Senegal while the Air France flight left Paris Orly Airport headed for Bahrain.Soon after the first flight, its was ordered by many other airliners like the Qantas ,Air India ,Iran Air,Singapore Airlines and many other major airliners.

WHY CONCORDE AIRCRAFT STOPPED ITS SERVICE

A major Incident took place on 25 July 2000, Air France Flight 4590 Crashed in Gonesse,France after departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle en route John F Kennedy International Airport in New York City, killing all 100 passengers and 9 crew members on board the flight, and the 4 people on the ground. It was the only fatal accident involving Concorde.Soon after this incident in 2003 Concorde flight stopped its service

But Now Several companies have each proposed a supersonic business jet, which may bring supersonic transport back again.

"GUARDIAN ANGELS OF THE SKY"-AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS

Have you ever thought that who is responsible for your safe flight journey from the source to the Destination. Is it the cabin crew who gave you safety instructions about the seat belts and other safety measures on board or is it the maintenance engineers who just make sure that the flight is ready for its journey or is it the pilots who flew the flight with their skills.

Obviously the pilots are responsible for our safe journey but there are people who are invisible to us  and guiding the pilot in the right way to ensure the flight has a safe journey, yes they are the Air Traffic Controllers or ATC, who truly make our journey safer and are called the Guardian Angels of the sky.

The ATC are the nerve center of the Aviation industry who are invisible to people but find mentions only during the air disasters like:a plane loosing the contact with the ATC usually means the terrible news.so now question that pop ups in our mind is that what could be the capabilities of a Air Traffic Controller?

Well,An Air Traffic Controller are individuals who are well organized, are quick with numeric computations and mathematics have assertive and firm decision making skills, and are able to maintain their composure under pressure, and possess an excellent short-term memory. They also have an excellent hearing and speaking skills.

Communication is a vital part of the job.Controllers are trained to focus on exact words that pilot and other controllers speak, because a single misunderstanding about altitude levels or runway numbers can have a tragic consequences.Of course, Teamwork plays a major role in a controller's job, not only with other controllers and air traffic staff , but with the pilots, engineers and managers too.

So now how about the computerization of the air traffic controllers?
Despite years of effort and billions of dollars spent on the software that is designed to assist air traffic control, success has been largely limited to improving the tools at the disposal of the controllers, such as computer-enhanced radar. It is likely that in few decades, future technology will make the controller more of a systems manager overseeing the decisions made by the automated systems.

WHY FLIGHT CHARGES CHANGE EVERY DAY?

Airfare is a product, but it has far more pricing variable than most.Unlike the products like Television and other gadgets  which only have less prices and discounts during festive seasons, but airfare do change due to many reasons like Fuel cost,Flight Distance,Competition, timing of flight and even time of purchase.

Fuel Cost
Fuel cost becomes the major contributor of the airfare because fuel cost change everyday single day. From 2011 fuel cost became the number 1 operating expense as it increased from 20 to 40%.
Hence change in oil prices impact on the operating cost for airliners which in turn make them reconsider how much to charge per ticket in order cover their costs and make profit out of it.

Flight Distance
Well this is one of the major problem as farther you fly the more expensive your ticket will be.
when the distance of the flight is more it requires more Fuel, again fuel cost comes in to account here.

Competition
Airlines have to consider their competition on each route they operate.if there is an airline operating the same route but charging comparatively less per ticket, then the airline will have to consider reducing their fares or risk not being able to sell enough tickets to cover the costs. They also have to be conscious that they are not charging so low that they are unable to break even.

Even time of Purchase
When you buy, your ticket matters. If you buy at the last minute typically within a week before departure, as business travelers do you'll pay a hefty premium which is why airline love their road warriors. The best time to buy domestic tickets is between three months to two or three weeks before departure. The best day to buy is Tuesday starting at about 3 p.m, at this time airfare sales have been released and competing airlines have matched the new, lower prices.

HOW DOES THE FLIGHT CHARGE CHANGE
Airline try to maximize revenue per Flight. This means that, they charge more or less depending upon the time where the predict to maximize the total revenue including all costs. They call it "Revenue Management" or "Yield management".The airline product is very weird the thing they are selling comes in weird quantities and has a short time limit. For example an airliner is flying Airbus A320 from one place to other, that the aircraft has 150 seats. If the airliner sells only 140 seats, the remaining 10 seats perish after departure time and they cant like return those seats to the manufacturer hence they have a 50 seat plane ,150 seat plane and 200 seat plane so that they can have much control over their product.
